Shana Goetsch is a visual artist who lives in Baltimore, Maryland, and her work has appeared in over 40 exhibitions throughout Wisconsin, Virginia, New York, Arizona, Maryland, and British Columbia, Canada. After witnessing a violent domestic tragedy in her own childhood, she began painting in 1989 as a way to express herself and now frequently incorporates themes of social justice in her work. She has volunteered her time and paintings to several benefit auction exhibitions, most recently for a local space in Baltimore called 901 Arts. She has also worked with two domestic violence centers – Sojourner Family Peace Center in Milwaukee, and House of RuthMaryland in Baltimore. We think she would be a great contribution to the Love+Water Designs community because her work reflects a desire for empowerment and love that can be inspiring!
