Lexi Namer is a photographer and artist in New York City who has received several awards for her documentary work with outreach programs, particularly with women’s rights groups. She has also travelled to Peru and Haiti; part of these images will be featured in an upcoming exhibition, Through Their Eyes, which will be presented in the For|By|For art show at WiX Lounge from February 21st to March 9th. All of the proceeds from her portion of the exhibition will go to her charity of choice, an orphanage in Peru called La Casa Hogar Los Gorriones. We think she would be a great addition to our community because of her passion for giving back and understanding the plight of those less fortunate.
