The Fruit Tree Planting Foundation is an award-winning international non-profit dedicated to planting fruit trees and plants in an effort to alleviate world hunger, combat global warming, strengthen communities and improve the surrounding air, water and soil.  Through their programs they donate orchards where the harvest will best serve communities for generations.  Their goal is to plant 18 billion trees- approximately three trees for every person alive.  They have been featured in USA Today, The Los Angeles Times, The New York Times and The Today Show, and have recently launched several new programs.

You can bring a fruit tree orchard to your community through the FTPF and Dreyer’s collaborative program, “Communities Take Root.”

You can make a gift donation with a gift certificate or purchase organic tree-grow kits on their site.
